This work explores the notion of trace through what we throw away. Each object that I extracted from the street has physically been changed through whoever owned and disregarded it. The photographs were carefully shot under studio lighting and are resemble precious museum artifacts, each piece of litter has a history and a story that is physically manifested through its current form. We walk past rubbish on a daily basis, I wanted to reveal the beauty in these abandoned items, giving them new significance and leaving the desire to find out more.
