This project deals with the idea of memories and reminiscence. It explores the emotions experienced when revisiting places of attachment. I have used a photographic transfer method because it not only reflects the faded memories, but also each transfer only reveals a small section of the original photographic print, as our memories are never whole but merely snippets. The whole process of reaching these prints, place to camera, photograph to photocopy, photocopy to transfer, also parallels the disconnection I felt when re-photographing these places. The camera only distanced me from the place and was never sufficient in portraying the love and memories I held in these places.
